THE ESCAPE – current Line-up
In December 2022 Sebastian „Sebi“ Hartstang joined The Escape as second guitarist. This enables Ingo Klemens to focus more on the vocals like he did when the band had four members from 2001 to 2013
When Randy Meinhard left the band to reform his older band „Sacrosanct“ he was replaced on guitar by Andreas „Stonie“ Steinhaus. So the Line-up from 2017 was: Ingo Klemens (voc, guitar, 12-String, piano, programming), Stonie (guitar, backing voc) and Tommes Arensmann (Keys).
THE ESCAPE 2016 – 2018
When founding-member Heiko Wersing quit the band the three members continued without replacing him. So the 7th Line-up was Ingo Klemens (voc, guitar, 12-String, piano, programming), Randy Meinhard (guitar, backing voc) and Tommes Arensmann (Keys).
THE ESCAPE 2005 – 2014
The 6th Line-up (2005 – 2014) was Ingo Klemens (voc, guitar, 12-String, piano, programming), Randy Meinhard (guitar, backing voc), Heiko Wersing (guitar, keys) and Tommes Arensmann (Keys). With this line-up the band recorded the „Conspiracy“ 7″ vinyl-single. The band wasn´t active from 2008 to 2014 and had their last official gig with this line-up in 2013
THE ESCAPE 2002 – 2005
The 5th Line-up was like the 4th, added by Thomas „Tommes“ Arensmann on additional keyboards. From left to right: Thorsten Lawrenz (guitar, backing voc), Ingo Klemens (voc, guitar, 12-String, piano, programming), Tommes Arensmann (keys) and Heiko Wersing (guitar, keys, programming). This line-up recorded the CD „House Of Mind“ and the Live-DCD „Ivory“ (both 2004)
THE ESCAPE 2000 – 2001
The 4th Line-up was Ingo Klemens (voc, guitar, 12-String, keys, piano, programming), Thorsten Lawrenz (guitar, backing voc) and Heiko Wersing (keys, guitar, programming). They released the „Manderley“ CD in 2001
THE ESCAPE 1993 – 2000
The third Line-up (1993 – 2000) was Elten (voc), Ingo Klemens (keys, guitar, 12-String, programming) and Heiko Wersing (keys, guitar, programming). With this Line-up THE ESCAPE released the CD´s „Every Tear Dries“, „Amaryllis“, „Faith And Decay“ and the MCD´s „Anthem“ and „Inside“.
THE ESCAPE 1991 – 1992
The second Line-up from THE ESCAPE was Axel Kramer (voc), Ingo Klemens (keys, guitar, programming) and Heiko Wersing (keys, E-drums, guitar). It lasted only one year, but the tape „Marionettes was written and recorded, which had a lot of songs that were used for the first album „Every Tear Dries“ in 1994.
